Heavy snowfall in the morning...
The Snowflakes came out by a little Photoshop help:
Strong unsharp mask (Radius ~3.0 and 100%) and then push up the threshold until the snowflakes are "oversharped" and the rest as you wish. Here it was a threshold of 8 which did the trick.
